			My background Museum curating and consultancy; lecturer on the history and archaeology of London. I have worked in the museum world since 1976 – first at the Research Laboratory for Archaeology and the History of Art and then at the Museum of London (1977-84). I was an Assistant Keeper at the Victoria and Albert Museum between 1984 and 1987. Recent initiatives Director of the Old Operating Theatre Museum in Southwark, London. Course Director for the Elderhostel Programme in London, which provides study tours, lectures and walks on the history, archaeology and art of London. Visiting lecturer on Museum Studies at University College, Worcester. Author of a series of Guided Walks for the Theatre Museum, Covent Garden (in progress).
