My expertise

I did my BA in Florence (Italy) in Industrial Design, where my University helped me to get what I believe to be a fascinating approach to Design.

Our continuous workshops encouraged us to develop in different directions, some towards Industrial Design, others towards a more experimental interdisciplinary learning with a continuous underlay of Conceptual Design.

So I could develop my skills in designing different kind of objects, from small scale to furniture,

learning how to carry on a project trough all its process, from market research, design studies, technology and materials choices,  to industrialization process.

I realized many furniture projects, especially chairs and tables, trying to be innovative not only in the shape and materials but developing alternative ways of interaction to create new relationships between the object and the users.

Designing objects is a way to communicate the to the users, and make them reflect about their quotidian gesture in relation to space.

My focus

Thanks to these experiences and to the MA I’m joining at CSM, I extended my focus from industrial design to exhibition curator and to other design disciplines, which I see more and more as a media to communicate an inside, to tell a story, to talk to people…
