| This project examines classification schemes and the interpretation of objects. Groups research four stories that can be derived from an object. Next, they devise a way to tell one of those stories in a spatial environment to a specific audience. Annotated models, storyboards and PowerPoint presentations of visualisations are used. | ![]() ![]() |
Doodle
Exhibition Aims: To create an exhibition where visitors of all ages and from all backgrounds can learn in a fun and interactive environment; to emphasise the unconscious aspect of doodling; to create an experience for visitors to recognise that creativity at any level is constructive and exciting. Rationale: A trail of activities that explore the art of doodling. Proposal: Room 1: a glass tunnel full of doodles on paper. Turbine wind fans lift these doodles in the air while audio samples of telephone conversations and TV and radio programmes play. Room 2: an activity area lined with phone booths, designed to encourage visitors to doodle on site. Doodle Readers analyse and interpret the drawings. Other rooms include interactive panels enabling visitors to generate doodles in all manner of creative ways on surrounding walls in real-time. |
