MA Creative Practice for Narrative EnvironmentsMA Creative Practice for Narrative Environments

Placements

A large part of the MA is about introducing you to the people out there now who are making waves.

You’ll spend at least five weeks on a placement in the summer term of the first year. You may choose a design studio, creative agency, architect’s practice, museum, gallery, production company, art practice or project management company. Placements can be in London, Britain, Europe or wider a field.

The placement is negotiated between yourself, the MA staff and the company. You’ll learn about the scale, mission, management, decision-making processes, working methods and work flows of the company through preparatory research. You’ll sit in on meetings, observe working practices and shadow practitioners. You’ll produce an audit and undertake agreed tasks (set out in advance in a contract).
