We’re pleased to announce the next Writing’s on the Wall ride will be run as part of ArtsAdmin's Two Degrees Festival Cycle Sunday - a day of cycling themed projects to kick off their week of art and activism, climate and cuts.
There's no pre-registration for this event, sign up for a time slot from 2pm at Toynbee studios on the day (12th June) (limited space available). Departures will be rolling from 3:30 and the ride takes approximately 2 hours, depending on your pace. Riders set out in pairs or small groups. Bring a partner, someone you trust or would like to know a little better. If you haven't got a partner, we’ll match you up with someone nice. Artsadmin has kindly provided the MP3 players for the tour, which you can pick up with your kit from Toynbee studios – so all you’ll need is your bike!
If you haven't done so already, take a minute to listen to the teaser track on the site, it'll give you an introduction to some of the artist's you'll be hearing from.
Be sure to Check out the schedule for Cycle Sunday, lots of cycling excitement to be had, including anarchist bike maintenance, capture the flag, and pedal-powered bingo!
Hope to see you there!
Happy trails,
WOTW

Writing's on the Wall is an audio and visual journey by bicycle exploring the changing face of London's East End. Learn about the area through some of the most prolific Street artists who use its architecture as their canvas. Hear about the work in the artists' own voices, while exploring the back lanes and vacant lots of a city in flux.
Artsadmin’s Two Degrees festival is a week of art and activism, climate and cuts. Following the first festival in 2009, Two Degrees 2011 takes place from 12-18 June in and around Artsadmin’s Toynbee Studios home. The events in the festival sit between art and activism – from a day of bike-themed art projects in collaboration with Arcola Theatre, to an artist-run hair salon exchanging haircuts for conversations, to a pop-up restaurant aiming to help eradicate the American Signal Crayfish from the UK. Two Degrees is a chance to join in, take part and make your voice heard.
Two Degrees is supported by the European Commission Culture Programme and by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
