Lei Yu (Renee) was born and grew up in Changsha, Hunan province in China. She has been there until she was 18 years old, she entered China Central Academy of Fine Arts University in 2005 and has studied there for four years, and she graduated in 2009. She studied exhibition and space design during her university life. Her group awarded the 1st prize twice and also won many other prices during her university life. She attended design contest of Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony under the teacher’s instructions in 2008 and Joined Beijing Jimei SD Studio and designed China National Hall in 2010 Shanghai World Expo. She also attended many other art works in Exhibition and Space Design studio. She became a volunteer working for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in 2008 and this experience left her a lot of good memories.
Lei Yu is good at design for space, whether it is big or small. She is not only interested in her major but also likes media、film、write novels and poetry. She usually spends spare time to write some poetry and create some ideas about art work, then try to use different ways to express them. She can use 3D max、Sketchup、Adobe Photoshop、Adobe Premiere, etc.
Lei Yu want to become a teacher working in a university and set up her own studio outside in the future. Currently, she wants to create some stories and then make them into films in spare time.
