Camilla Zucchi and Fernanda de Uriarte, graduates of MA Narrative Environments at Central Saint Martins from 2008 are showing a new piece of work at The Freud Museum.

They are pleased to invite you to a Late Opening event this Wednesday (30/11/11) featuring the presentation of "Displaced Object", a new temporary installation in the Museum Main Hall.

Come along to see and take part into the story of an object taken out of the museum's traditional display.

The permanent collection will be open to the public and food and drinks will be served between 6:30 and 8:30.

THE DISPLACED OBJECT
A three-stage project to re-interpret the Freud Museum Collection
"As time passes, the context changes, and our ability to correctly decipher the original meaning of a message can be severely hindered. Our frame of
reference is simply too dissimilar from the original frame to be useful....Even perfectly preserved messages can still change in their perceived meaning."
Ryan Hughes, 2010
