Arkitekturmuseet presented Riskcenter at Stockholm, an exhibition on constructed environments used for risk and safety education. The centre temporarily transformed a section of the museum into a site-specific risk assessment facility and performance space.
At first glance this is an educational project addressing various aspects of risk and safety with a focus on children as the primary audience. However on second reading it can also be seen to explore new modes and motives within contemporary design practice.
Riskcenter is produced by Arkitekturmuseet in collaboration with Onkar Kular and Inigo Minns, with generous support from Royal College of Art, MSB – Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency and Printfabriken.
