Himanshu Desai curates at Toronto art gallery

Himanshu Desai recently curated an exhibition by the artist Asthma Arshad Mahmood titled 'Three Yards of Dogma 2: Denied Favors'. The exhibition was held at the Art Square Gallery in Toronto, Canada at the beginning of January.

ParalympicsGB visual identity extension

A group of four students from Central Saint Martins MA Creative Practice for Narrative Environments worked on a six-week placement with ParalympicsGB to create the look and feel of the Paralympic camps and village for the London 2012 Great Britain team.

Over 160 of Britain’s Paralympic hopefuls and staff from 14 different sports benefited from the students’ designs during their five-day Paralympic Potentials Camp on Claverton Campus at the University of Bath in August.

Eva Xie to take part in Prague Quadrennial 2011

A current student (Eva Xie) from MA Creative Practice for Narrative Environments has been selected to be part of the 2011 Prague Quadrennial (PQ) of Performance Design and Space in the Czech Republic.

Portobello Market ReCollection

London-based artist and designer Natasha Mason (former MACPfNE student), with the help of photographer Teresa Crawley, has transformed a 100 metre long wall at the northern end of Portobello Road into a giant shelf of records representing the defining songs of Notting Hill, as identified through collaboration with local DJs, musicians, record labels, stall holders and historians.

I was commissioned to design of a light installation for the new atrium at Selfridges&Co to celebrate the arrival of the biggest shoe department in the world. A project in collaboration with Grit Hartung and Emilie Brancher.
