Let the Monsters Speak

An interactive game designed to spark meaningful conversations between parents and children about how society creates monsters

“Let the Monsters Speak" is an interactive game designed to spark meaningful conversations between parents and children about how society creates monsters and their reflection of societal issues, moral and ethical dilemmas. In this game, families explore the stories of various monsters that stimulate discussions on identity, media influence, non-human perspectives, and political themes. Based on these discussions, the game introduces four monster characters —Scapegoat, Mirror, Mascot, and Hero Maker— each embodying distinct themes tied to different social dynamics. Using AI technology to build stories combined with physical artifacts, families can explore and transform these narratives into customized animated storybooks which participants can share their creations with an online community. This engaging game deepens understanding of complex issues, enhancing children's critical thinking about social dynamics.
